I have practiced law in Colorado since 1986. My practice is limited to representing disabled people in Social Security disability claims, including both administrative proceedings and federal court appeals. I have a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and my law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. I am a past member the board of directors of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) representing the Tenth Circuit. I have taught seminars for that organization and the Colorado Bar Association on various topics related to Social Security disability law.
I was named a Top Lawyer by 5280 Magazine in 2015 and 2016.
In my off hours, I am a beekeeper, and I enjoy volunteering with service dog organizations such as Canine Companions for Independence and Paw Pals, as well as gardening, cooking, sewing, and kickboxing.
